What exactly is regular giving?
Making a tax-deductible gift every 4 weeks to the Climate Council.
Climate Council’s regular giving program allows you to support our work with automatic, recurring donations. You choose the amount and date the donation comes out, and your contributions help us continue advocating for climate action, influencing policy, and providing crucial information to the public.

Why is it better to give a regular donation than a one-off donation?
By making a regular gift every 4 weeks, you’ll be ensuring our work for the long haul. Much of our work casts an eye to the next term of government, the next budget cycle and even out beyond 2030.
For instance, our Seize the Decade report took 18 months to write, with our team to apply full rigour over modelling and policy detail to create our plan that shows exactly how Australia can slash climate pollution by 75% by 2030.
Will I receive a tax receipt for my regular gift?
When you first set up your regular gift, you will receive an email with your donation receipt attached. You will then receive a consolidated receipt in July each year for all of your donations during the previous financial year.
How do I update my payment details for my regular gift?
Please enter your email address here and you’ll receive an email to your Account Portal where you can securely update your payment details. If you donate regularly via PayPal, you will need to update your card details in your PayPal account.
How do I make other changes to my regular gift (e.g. donation amount, payment method)?
