Dr Anne Quain is a Sydney based veterinarian, a member of the NSW Australian Veterinary Association Executive Committee, an examiner for the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists Animal Welfare Chapter and a lecturer at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science.
Dr Quain sees climate change as one of the biggest health issues facing domestic and wild animals in Australia. Her concerns for the impact of climate change on animals range from animal health and welfare, human-animal relationships and ecosystem disruption.
She has co-authored the book, Veterinary Ethics: Navigating Tough Case, and is a diplomat of the European College of Animal Welfare and behaviour science in animal welfare, ethics and law.
