Robert (Rob) Lee is a sheep and cattle farmer from central west NSW. With a background in agricultural science, Rob restructured his family farm business to better manage increased climate-volatility.
He adopted more flexible destocking rates and more intensive rotational grazing techniques due to the unpredictable weather patterns to increase resting periods for pasture. This is so Rob’s stock is maintained more consistently throughout the year.
Rob has been involved with the Landcare movement for twenty years and can talk about the effectiveness of regenerative farming in unprecedented weather conditions. Rob is a member of Farmers for Climate Action.
