Danielle Veldre is an extremely experienced media communications professional, who came to the Climate Media Centre in April 2023 from the role of Media Manager at Amnesty International Australia (where she had an over five years tenure). Starting her career as a journalist, she has a wide range of skills from news reporting to feature writing, editing, managing newsrooms and magazine and online media production. She also has extensive experience as an independent, agency and in-house media and communications specialist including strategy, implementation, media liaison and media training.
