Emily was a journalist and editor for 14 years before joining the Climate Media Centre in 2022. She has covered the media industry for Crikey and Media Watch, as well as working for print and online news outlets around the country including news.com.au, NT News, Sunday Mail (SA) and Domain. At the CMC, Emily works with community constituency groups and manages the centre’s media training program, which works to empower trusted messengers in the community to speak confidently to the media about climate change impacts and solutions.
